As a computer vision researcher at Noldus Information Technology, I'm working on algorithms to capture human motion from video streams. Together with members of the Geometry and Multimedia Group at Utrecht University, I developed the Video And Recognition Toolbox (VidART). This toolbox consists of functions to detect people in a scene and track them. Next to VidART, I worked on human pose estimation and activity recognition.
In the past few years, I have (co)supervised several student projects in a various amount of research topics, such as multiple view background subtraction, wide-baseline stereo matching and 2D human pose estimation in still images. If you are a student in computer science, mathematics, or an equivalent study and you have an affiliation with computer vision in human motion capturing applications, please contact me to discuss possibilities of doing your master project at Noldus IT in Wageningen.
