Matisse's leaves

Matisse's leaves are shapes taken from Matisse's later work. Matisse made such shapes by tearing them from paper, and assembling them like a collage. This composable art piece has 8 bigger pieces, four of which are green and the other four have different colors. The other green pieces are not taken from Matisse but done in the same style. All these pieces are made from 8mm wood and have two, three, or four holes near the sides. The pieces hang from the ceiling and from each other. All connections are made by non-closed rings that fit through the holes.
