Present teaching
Currently I teach the 3rd-year course "Advanced quantum mechanics" (NS-375B) as well as, together with Rembert Duine, the master course "Field theory in condensed matter" (NS-TP457M). See the Onderwijs Catalogus (Osiris) for further informations.
Bachelor's and master's projects
I act as the local Bachelor's theses (BONZ) organiser for the Institute for Theoretical Physics (ITP). Please contact me if you are interested in doing your thesis at the ITP or if you have any questions concerning your bachelor's thesis.
Personally I offer projects for bachelor's and master's thesis, eg, from the following fields:
- Phase diagram and critical properties of low-dimensional magnetic systems (bachelor or master)
- Non-equilibrium properties of low-dimensional systems (master)
- Exactly solvable spin systems and their underlying mathematical structures (twin master with mathematics)
- ...
