About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate under supervision of Gil Cavalcanti and am part of the Geometric Structures group at Utrecht University, led by Marius Crainic. I obtained my master's degree in mathematics from Utrecht University, and hold bachelor's degrees in applied physics and applied mathematics from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Research interests

My research interests are in the fields of Poisson geometry and generalized complex geometry. Moreover, I am interested in surrounding areas such as symplectic geometry, gauge theory, Dirac geometry, index theory, and low-dimensional topology. My main interest lies in using Lie algebroids to apply and extend symplectic techniques to Poisson and generalized complex structures.
